|
|
Hi All,
I've been a user of Tomtom Navigator for a while now and have just ordered a Tomtom 720T, I was wondering if its possible to transfer a custom made voice file of my daughters from the iPaq Navigator 6 into the new 720T?
The two files are called data71.chk and new.vif
Many thanks,
Dave |

Just connect the 720 to your PC and use Windows Explorer to put the two files into the voices folder on the device, I would strongly recommend you fully back up the device before doing this though - Mike |

Hi daveday and welcome to the forum. You should also read the FAQ's also before your device arrives. It will tell you the best way to back-up and resolve any problems you may run into before it happens. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
