my daughter got a Nuvi 670 for Christmas but where do you find the POI's ???????????
On my Nuvi 350 yiou have the "my locations" tab that gives you favourites recents selections custom POI's.
WE CANT FIND CUSTOM POI@S on the 670 !!!!!!!!!!!! where do we find them, they are on the sd card that is recognised by the PC but cant fing any link to POI on the 670 screens.

C'mon folks, can someone tell us where we find a screen tab that takes us to the custon POI on a 670!
Or do we have a unit with the tab missing??????????
Instructions are useless, so need some advice! |

According to Page 51 of the manual:-
"To view your Custom POIs, touch 'Where to ; Extras ; Custom POIs" |

But no joy 
My Nuvi 350 finds the POI's from the 670's SD card but the 670 shows nothing in the "extras" section, no Custom POI's showing even after reset and reloading latest version!
If anyone has any bright ideas I would appreciate any help as daughter has headed off to herm home in the North with no POI's working. |

erm... have you actually installed any custom poi's? the menu option only shows up once there are some poi's on the device!

If you mean the same card, with the same contents works in the 350, but not the 670 - that implies that the 670 is having trouble seeing the card (for whatever reason).
Would be interesting to hook the 670 up to a PC with that card in place - to see if the PC can access it, (via the 670).
Also, there's probably an SD card test, within the (hidden) diagnostics on the 670.
(I assuming these are 'normal' Custom POIs (for locations in the UK), built with POI Loader - and not 'locked' .GPI files from elsewhere, or for distant places 10,000 miles away.) |
