|
|
I installed my first database in November - Great. It took a while to type everything in but works a treat. But now there is an updated database. Do I have to go through the same again ? Is there a quick process to only add the new / amended cameras ?
If not, what is the process to overwrite the existing files on my 910 ?
Thanks |

Just copy the OV2 and bmp files to the map folder,You shouldent have to retype all the warnings again.

You don't even need to copy the .bmp files...
So long as you use the same version of the database (single, consolidated by camera type or speed-zoned) each time, you can just overwrite the old .ov2 files with the new ones.
V7 software has a habit of forgetting your carefully saved POI settings occasionally though.
To get round this, save an extra backup copy of your MapSettings.cfg file from your map folder somewhere safe, so you can quickly copy it back if the TT ever forgets things. |
