|
|
Been having a play with my X970T and My Favourites on the My ViaMichelin website, but found a problem I cannot seem to resolve.
I created some folders on My Viamichelin.
Synched these OK via Content Manager.
Since delete the folders from My Viamichelin.
Synching does not remove them from SatNav.
Tried to remove them via Content Manager. They go when I hit delete, I re-synch but they are still on the Sat Nav.
Tried to delete them from the memory card but again they still appear when Sat Nav is booted up.
Am I missing something obvious or has anyone else had this problem?? |

I haven't had to try it yet, so am not sure, but it may be worth looking at the Conflict Resolution 'Rules' tab option in ActiveSynch, which if set to manual there is supposed to be a "Resolve items .." option to choose which version of an item to update. Also/Or possibly try selecting one of the other options after doing the usual synchronisation and then repeat it to see if it gets rid of the deleted folders.
Just a thought ... |

I had this problem too. Moving addresses to new folders seems to work but deleting doesn't. Also, changes in Content Manager don't get copied back to the My ViaMichelin page either, which I find frustrating. This means that the web page will almost always be different than my GPS and my Content Manager. _________________ ViaMichelin X-980T

Just to update you, I finally gave in. Backed up my addresses from the SD card, restored my SD card from Content Manager and then re-copied my address file back onto the SD card. All now OK and no more folders I cannot delete.
I've also given up using the option to save favourites via the ViaMicehlin web-site. |
