God gave us the Integer, the rest was devised by man.
Now this I like! I share your sentiments about panasonic as one of the unsung heros of the technology market. And if their other stuff is anything to go by, this'll be good too.
Shame about the TMC being an addon, and no date on the website as to when the accessories will be available, and dispite looking all over I couldn't find a tech page to tell me what satalite system it uses. untill I found it on another website "Reception sensitivity: with 2 level LNA -157 to -159dBm SiRF Star III standard" cool.

FWIW, the Panasonic uses Navigon software. We had been promised a review unit by Panasonic UK some weeks ago but for one reason and another they have yet to honour it. _________________ Darren Griffin

Ho, Ho. I went into Comet tonight to look at one, which they didn't have, but could get for me. In answer to my questions they rang to ask another branch and said ..
A They don't know if it has the Congestion Charge Zone.
B It will accept third party POIs.
It was a girl, not a spotty boy - BUT she rang a spotty boy to find out.
The next spotty person told me a printer WOULD work with my 64-bit machine, but when I persisted he went and asked another one who said it wouldn't.
The next spotty person had to go ask another one if the (different) printer would be compatible with Mac OS X and she brought the box, which said it was. So I bought it (only £50 for a wireless one, but they told me to expect only half full ink cartridges, what a swindle!). I wonder where I can put it. _________________ Dennis

...I went into Comet tonight to look at one, which they didn't have, ...
I also popped into a comet today and they diddn't have one either, and as the place was packed with frustrated christmas shoppers and even more frustrated spotty sales persons I then left. And as my printer works on my 64bit computer I failed to see the point of asking any questions about a new one. _________________ Dom

My three printers work on my 64bit machine, in the same way that any printers work on any PC, generic drivers. But NONE of them will load their software for printer management (like how much ink they haven't got left, scanning, cleaning and testing). I don't expect my new printer to work on it until I reinstall the wireless card (which won't load its 32bit software - bluddy GRRRR). I bet it works first time with the super expensive MacBook Pro 17! _________________ Dennis
