I have downloaded the latest speed camera database for a myguide 3100 I have installed them correctly and can see them on the map, but when I do a test run (fly over) passed a nearby speed camera, I do not get any audible warning I have checked the settings and it all seems ok, but I read somewhere that speed cameras on this satnav are directional is this correct ? Because I am travelling the wrong way to the camera in the test. |

And I think only sounds off if you're close to posted limit.
Have you checked unit volume settings? _________________ Gel

I think the myguide runs the IGO software. This does not sound audible or display speed alerts on flyover mode.
To test the speedcam warnings, click on a local road, select AddCam from the popup then add a 'dummy' cam. You will then have to realy drive against it to test it.
The direction arrow on the Add Cam menu, is the direction in which you must be travelling to get caught. |
