TomTom on Keomo

I've tried running the version of TomTom that worked on an AyToBe on Maplin's replacement, the Keomo. I had to change the TT GPS device settings; the receiver is on COM1 instead of SP2. But there's a problem with it, because although it gets a fix, and the satellite status page looks good, the position as displayed on the map jitters around, by tens or hundreds of metres, or even more.

My suspicion is that the software is dropping characters from the NMEA datastream, perhaps because the COM port driver doesn't buffer it. But that's just a guess -- it could be some other compatibility problem, or even partly-malfunctioning hardware; the original Smart2Go software doesn't have any problem with it, but then it might not be using some particular mode that's not working.

So, anyone else tried TT on Keomo? Or got any other ideas about this problem?[/url]

TT5 is running ok on Keomo along with R66. I believe there is a problem with TT6 and its compatibility with wince 4.2. On other forums they are saying they are having the same problems with TT6 on other wince4.2 enabled devices.
