The problem now, is that any psychopath with a TomTom mapshare can just block any road off as they wish.
It's just a shame that the POI's don't get updated so immediately, as my local police station is over a mile from where it should be, despite me updating it! God help anyone that needs the police urgently. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

I might add that I get paid by the mile and when the main logistics companies I subcontract for work out what they'll pay, they do it with Autoroute - unless I've got a good reason (like I'll normally ring in first if there's a traffic jam to avoid), they don't pay any more than that. _________________ Dennis

What totally astounded me was the other night when a TT device was on sale on QVC, they had a young woman from TomTom who demonstrated first the Help (first thing she chose she had to quickly say Ah there aren't any on this yet) by doing walking to nearest public transport - tube station conveniently just a five minute walk from the TV station, then told us about how good MapShare is AND THAT IT'S ALL VERIFIED BY TT so you can trust it! I think she must be the other person on the TT phone helpline. _________________ Dennis

Hi, is anyone else experiencng a problem with applying map corrections, to their own maps, specifically for existing streets e.g. no left/right turn into.....
When I make a correction to a street indicating you cannot make a right or left turn, it does not make any changes to my maps, unlike the 'un/block', option!
Rather annoying as one route TomTom uses to get me To Virginia Street, London is by routing down Cannon Street Road, London, then offering a right turn at the junction into The Highway (N51.50951 W0.06025)
This Junction is no right turn from Cannon Street Road. I duly make the corrections, but does not apply them to my maps and low and behold TomTom 720 goes its own merry way and still routes me right at the junction every time.
Is this just a quirk on my TT720, or another of those endearing properties TomTom has .
(I claim 'senile demetia' if this has cropped up before - I checked the search option, but after reading many posts, I ralised it would take me until Christmas to narrow down the search) _________________ Mick

Only the options on the first screen (block/unblock, POIs etc) are updated on your map and optionally passed to TomTom to update others with your changes. The options on the other pages just get passed to TomTom. It's mentioned in various topics in passing (especially the multi-topic long ones ). _________________ Gerry

GerryC, Thanks for the reply, I thought it was my 720 being quirky.
Seems odd you can block a road, but cannot make it a no right or no left turn. The wonders of owning a TomTom do exercise the mind.
Well, my search capabilties have been shown to lacking, so I will now go and stand in the corner with the hat with a BIG 'D' on it, until I can learn to search the forums correctly!
(I just updated my tt720 and was offered the latest update and now have application 7.221 8572/071121). _________________ Mick

I tested with the RDS-TMC today and still get the 1 minute delay. Also, going into the traffic info showed 8 incidents on route, but none of them were showing from the main screen on the Traffic sidebar.
Any one else get the same - not all incidents showing on the sidebar and when they do they either show no delay at all, or 1 minute?
