|

Have just downloaded and installed Western Europe map to a Tom Tom One that was previously loaded with a map of Spain. Have had to use a new SD card to give enough space.
The unit will now only switch on when the new SD card is removed. Obviously I don't want to have to keep taking it out and putting it back in every time I want to use the thing, so I was wondering if this is normal, or if I have missed a file to be included on the SD card?
It used to switch on without problem with the Spanish map SD plugged in.
Any suggestions? |

Have you got the TomTom software on the new SD card? If you copy everything from the old card, onto your PC, using windows explorer, then copy everything onto the new card, then delete the old spanish map, and download/copy the new map onto the SD card, it should work. If you make sure you have a full backup first, if it goes wrong, you can always start again. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

See if the Reset sequence discussed in This Thread is helpful. _________________ Richard
