|
|
Hi,
I have a TT720 with a new style TT TMC receiver however reception is a 50/50 thing and I was hoping for a bit more. I know that Ford's Quickclear windscreen does not affect the GPS signal with my TT720 but do you think that the QC screen could interfere with the week FM signal for the TMC?
Many thanks.
PS - I would love to be able to hook the TMC up to my car radio aerial but I have no idea what to do. If anybody fancies doing a 'How-to', I(as well as many others I'm sure) would love to see it.
Thanks |

I have the TMC receiver working in a Mondeo with a quick clear windscreen. I have the aerial wire laid along the full width of the screen at the bottom. Reception is not perfect but it does get a lock and receive traffic updates. |
