since loading the latest application i have to press reset to start the device when its been switched off, when i restore to previous app it works fine, any ideas |

same with me, have to take the SD card out press the ON button and insert SD card while its booting. Reset does not fix it for me. |

I didn't do a full reset. I did and now all is fine :
If you do a full reset, it fixes the problem.
Make sure device is fully charged - remove SD card - press reset button for atleast 15 seconds - turn on for atleast 5 secs - insert SD card. |

I think you'll find that instructions like " Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds" are actually just to make sure you hold the button down long enough for it to turn on, as a quick tap won't do it. There's nothing magic about the 5 seconds. |
