I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have done the same thing today with GO300. Installed V2.1 home and version 7 software. Subscribed to traffic cameras, installed some extra voices. Same thing though with V7 UK map, download gets to end and then I get an Internal Server Error and the download and install fails.
I have sent an email to TomTom but I don't expect an answer any time soon.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Same thing on my 720 - map was made available for download, I got a message warning me to make enough room for it on the device, which I did, and download commenced (1.7 GB - 1.5 hours!) then the dreaded Internal Server Error.
If you check on your computer where your downloads are stored, you will find the map - is the activation file zero bytes? Mine was on all four of the times I downloaded the map, so I suspect it is a fault at Tomtoms end... |

LOTS of reports of this all over the forums.
TT have already said that the 705 to 710 map "latest map guarantee" upgrade isn't working, and to wait a few days for developments. |

Should have made myself clearer....
I have not seen any specific confirmation from TT that the 7.10 map cannot be downloaded when you have bought it, but I HAVE seen confirmation from them that THE SAME MAP cannot be downloaded as part of the LMG.
Get my drift? |

Yes. I have tried to download the lastest map data, and I also get exactly the same problem. "Internal Server Error". Most annoying.
Just wondering if it's worth sending an e-mail to TT support, or just simply to keep my eye on this tread. I think that the latter would probably give me information quicker.

The really annoying thing is that Tom Tom Home doesn't recognise that you have already downloaded the map (which takes about an hour for me) and expects you to start over. If TomTom actually manage to fix this any time soon, what's the chance they make just the activation file available to circumvent having to download the map all over again? |
