I think it would be the Dennises' van and the Dennises' GO 720s' failure to get the latest maps - and the Dennises' emails to TomTom still wouldn't get satisfactory replies. _________________ Anita

Well worth checking out that Lynne Truss book "Eats, shoots and leaves" (remember the Panda joke?) if you're interested. |

Has any one tryed looking for GRAYS INN ROAD WC1, you get the same result as with KINGS ROAD SW.
But if you put in HIGH HOLBURN then search for the crossing you can get the A5200 GRAYS INN ROAD, whats that all about then. ?? |

If I enter "Gray's Inn Road" it finds it, and if I search for the crossing I get "A5200 Gray's Inn Road", so I can't see any inconsistency there - apostrophe both times.
I should have thought with any road ending in "s", if it isn't found you'd try again with an apostrophe, as there don't seem to be any hard and fast rules with street names. _________________ Anita

Apart from Anita, who knows a lot, I fancy we're all getting a bit lazy from the facilities available to us these days. If I put grays inn road and gray's inn road into Google, it seems to come up with the same results. Clearly, some of these searching things are more flexible than others. _________________ Dennis
