POI's and Ostia software

I was hoping to find a way to add POI categories to my Ostia mapping software. I'm using the latest version...version 6. I have seen the posts on POI's and the TomTom software. Does POI sync and POI edit work with all mapping software?

No, not yet. Many vendors use proprietary POI file formats. There is an interesting development in the market, though. The GPX XML format is steadily gaining support, and it won't be long until all programs will have to support that format to keep their market share. Here's to hope...
