Hi All,
I am about to buy a dedicated Sat-Nav system after using TomTom 6 on my mobile phone for a few months and not being able to set-up speed camera alerts.
I think that my requirements are:-
1. Clear Screen
2. Maps for U.K. and europe.
3. Bluetooth, so I can use my phone handsfree
4. Easy to fit in my pocket when I reach my destination
5. On the move traffic alerts.
At the moment I am thinking of the Garmin Nuvi 760T, but I would appreciate any suggestions from more experienced users. |

Hi, I would say that the nuvi 760T fits all your stated requirements. I have just received mine and out of the box it certainly seems to be the business. It has a very bright clear screen and appears well made. I have not yet road tested it
The best price I have found so far is handtec.co.uk. Good luck! |

Hi Bradders2,
Thanks for the info, I've just been on the Handtec site and their price seems the best.
Looks like I'll be placing an order in the morning. |

Hi again, please note that the 760T does not include a Garmin AC home Adapter/Charger. You can pick one up for £20 from Halfords. The part nomber is 010-10723-00. This is stated to be for the 200/300/600 series, but it fits the 760T as well. It has a mini USB connector, which plugs into the USB PC connectoin on the 760T unit. |

Thanks for the info, I can always try bargaining. Not much hope at that price. |
