Hello All
I have just purchased a ipaq 5500 and tom tom 3 bluetooth setup after many hours researching this forumI decided this was the way to go for me, I had no problems what so ever with the setup and it seems to work fine.
I have a question im hoping someone can give me a possible solution to
Im not hard of hearing but my works van overpowers the speaker volume
even when all set to max, is there a work around maybe a way of linking it to the hifi or additional speakers.
Thanx in advance
JC
And keep up the good work here very informative forum |

Hi JC,
I'm not sure how much more you want to spend on an amplifying system, but if you don't mind paying a bit more, have a look at this link here.
Hope this helps.

If you own a BT headset you could try to listen to the audio through that... _________________ Lutz

Try this link http://www.totalpda.co.uk/index.aspx for the Arkon SF 121 Wireless Audio Adapter. This allows reproduction fro the PDA through your hifi speakers I have one and it is very good. _________________ Graham |

We forgot to mention that we're a site full of vampires, we sleep when there's daylight and awake when it's dusk. You will too soon! |

You can get the Arkon mount a lot cheaper on ebay, my one was £32ish including p&p.

Got all my gps stuff yesterday and the brodit mount i ordered for the lotus elise didn't come
BUT the arkon multimedia mount for the focus did and i put it in the lotus anyway and we were barrelling along (even with roof off) and the speaker could just be heard.
This should be Ok for most people as on track days the Elise has a drive by rating of 105db!!
There was a little distortion from the speech though at max volume.
