How do i change the software version on my i3?????????????
I've copied 2.7 onto my computer, unzipped it, connected the unit via the usb cable, clicked on the updater but it then errors mentioning someting about setting the interface option to Host.
HELP!!!!

That's exactly how you do it.
Would help if you posted the EXACT error message you get. |

The error message is:
"The GARMIN device is not responding. Please ensure the following and try again:
1) The Garmin device'sInterface option is set to Garmin or Host mode.
2)The cable is connected to the correct serial port.
3) The Garmin device is turned on."
As mentioned in the now locked thread, I getthe same message when trying to go from 3.30 to 3.40 on the Garmin web page, so could this be a generic Vista problem?

Sorry. I must have missed your updates.
It's possible it is a Vista problem. The drivers have been updated to support Vista (including 64 versions) however I've not had an opertunity to try the firmware updates with Vista.
