As long as you have a Full Backup, I would try the upgrade again.
As to whether 7.13 is better than 6.50 I don't know, but I suspect it will allow you to do all the MapShare 'thingies' (a DennisN word ) and certain other Enhancements.
You don't say which Map Version you have.
If you have a problem after updating, a Reset will often sort things out. _________________ Richard

I helped a friend set up home and register her christmas present,it's a TT1 V3, her home account shows it as a 7xx series with map upgrade, should this be a cause for concern - it's a new unit from Halfords not 2nd hand. |

You have nothing to worry about at all, if the device has version 705 mapping installed it needs a map update as the latest are 710 - if it has 710 mapping installed it is as upto date as you can get.
The map upgrade certificate is to let the owner have a free upgrade to the latest standard of map once the deivce is purchased, obviously a device sat on the shelf for a few months is not likely to have the most upto date software/ mapping, this is a way to ensure the user gets the latest for free. - Mike |
