|
|
Got a GO classic and it has to be on the external antenna to get any reception. Would a 910 be a load better - or would it still need the external antenna (and therefore plugging into the charger whilst on the move)
Can i use my speed camera data and my current maps/voices etc with a 910?
is it a lot bigger physically than the GO?
cheers

The 910 has a better chipset and I've never had to use an ext antenna.
It would need to be used more often on the charger as the 910 lasts just over 2 hours, compared to the Classic's 6hrs.
The speed camera data is identical, and the 910 will have the latest map (if not, the possibility to download the latest map) and there are more voices available with the 910 (including Text To Speech and Computer Voices).
Physically the 910 is wider, about the same height, but not quite as deep as the Classic. It also weighs marginally less. _________________ Richard

thanks - the 910 is supposed to have a faster processer 400mghz rather than 200mghz - does this mean it can calculate the route faster?
cheers

I can't say that I ever bothered to check before, but a route from Southend on Sea to Edinburgh takes 55 secs on the 910. _________________ Richard
