alright all.. quick fyi..
i've a 18 month old (ish) tomtom 710 - when i got it it had a 1 month 'traffic' trial which i used. recently upgraded it to the new software, and whilst i was parked waiting for someone, i was playing round in the menus. clicked on traffic and it said 'thanks for activating your promotion'. - right off the traffic works! i tried the same for speed cameras but no luck, but i'm not going to complain about free traffic! maybe its cos i've got a duff rds-tmc reciever? Either way, give it a go, might work for you too |

I think you will find that the free tomtom traffic trial will expire one month after activation . I too activated the trial after having my TT one v2 for about 6 months and sure enough one month to the day after activating it , it told me i would have to subscribe to the service for the required amount of hard earned cash. |
