My phone BTW is a Nokia 6230i
You also still get the buzz when you try to record your own Voices.

Alas update for 520/720 and phantom 920 only.
What Bluetooth issue do you have?
Also just got email from pixmania with further price cuts
720 for £240.00
720T for £274

When i try to answer the phone with the TT it just just echoes the sound around. A bit like feed back from a microphone. Then just starts to click and usually have to turn it off. it used to do it a bit with my TT700. Its almost like theres not enough processor power to run the blue tooth as well as the TT. |

My mapshare roundabouts and moved poi's still seem not to work/show
Anyone know what does work in mapshare
Could mapshare do with it's own forum tab just for problems relating to it?

I have dowloaded the updates and have no problems at all with Bluetooth and Nokia 6234.
Tried with an old Nokia 6230, it is quiter than 6234, but no buzzing.
Only thing I do get when using hands free is an annoying beep approx every minute, but I was informed that this is probably to remind the user the mobile phone is in use - helpful maybe if line goes quite or put on hold.
Also, think it would be nice to know what the mapshare updates - updated on TomTom maps each time _________________ Mick

Mick,
To confirm did you have the buzzing problem before you applied this update?

Will it resolve the loss of POI spoken warnings? Probably not but I'm about to find out. |

Home has just offered me v7.210. It even gave a link to a page on the TomTom site for details of what's changed. But, being TomTom, of course it only gave details of v7.16 and earlier! |

HummerUK - No My phones worked OK with Bluetooth. Though have noticed that they are a little louder than they were before when using hands free
DennisN - No Dennis I did not, I must learn to RTFM in detail before using the equipment. Thanks for the info. _________________ Mick

If so, it's probably the only thing that is. I have read the manual - and didn't learn anything from it!! That's a dirty lie - I learned that the GO720 is a satellite navigation device that you can use to navigate to places. _________________ Dennis

Dennis, are you sure the GO720 is a satelitte navigation device, you have had so many replaced!
Or do you just fancy the woman in Halfords, and keep making excuses to go back!!! _________________ Mick

I've not even bothered removing the shrink wrap from the manual pack. I figured it might give me a few extra quid if I ever sell on ebay. |
