I may be doing something stupid but I've got 2 tomtom 520's and on the second one I don't seem to have the speed cameras in speed categories.
I bought the first one a couple of weeks ago, downloaded the speed cams, extracted the files in to the map and Bob's yer uncle. I set up a spoken warning for each speed category and it all works a treat.
I then bought another TT520 for my wife and attempted to repeat the process but It's only showing me an icon for each camera type in POI's, not the various speed categories. In desperation, I've even copied the pocket GPS files out of the first one and pasted to the second, but still no joy.
I've tried a reboot.
Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong? |

How many custom POI files have you installed, have a look at the device using Windows Explorer and count up the number of files ending with the extension of .ov2 if the quantity is above 100 you have exceeded the limit the software can use - so back up the device and delete some.
If it is not over the max figure (100) can you see any files that are named pocketgps_uk-gatso_50.ov2 as this is one of the speed zoned files, you might have installed the consolidated database by mistake? - Mike
Edit once to sort out typos - keyboard needs new batteries (again)

Thanks Mike - I restored the device back to it's original state & removed all the POI's I'd put on first & now the speed cams have installed correctly |
