FYI, the iPhone and GO 720 seem to work flawlessly together (for hands-free use).
Sound quality and connectivity are both working very well. The 720 even imported my 1200+ contact phone book in less than 10 seconds. Impressive.

Excellent, we finally get the iPhone here on Tuesday but I shan't be bothering. Much as I like many of the features, the UK provider has a very poor contract offering with their unlimited data plan subject to a ridiculously low 'fair use' limit and very expensive penalties if you exceed it. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Indeed. I can live with GPRS/Edge speeds but I can't live with their strangled 'Unlimited' data plan. But as I write this, O2 apper have to recanted on this limited unlimited plan, see here which would make it very much more usable.
Even so, I'm very happy with my Blackberry, does email superbly and that is what I need more than anything. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Connecting my iPhone to my 720 works perfectly for handsfree calling (and transferring phone contacts) but the 720 didn't seem to display (or read aloud) text messages . I've only tried once though so I wanted to check if this is what other people have experienced or whether I should try tinkering with it to get text messages working? |
