tomtom 520 freezing problem

i have a problem with my new tom tom 520 go unit, it works fine and is excellent but every so often i go to the 'navigate to..' screen button and when i press that button on screen it freezes up completely. After 2/3 mins it does reboot itself and wotks fine again for the next few searches, but then same thing happens again! Very frustrating as i use it all the time in my courier work.

Have updated the software regularly, reset the unit, tried to swop it as its only 2 months old, but shop said i have to contact tomtom who might be able to suggest a solution or even collect it for repair, worst scenario for me as i would be without the unit for a few days, need it for my job!

Anyone experienced the same problem?
Or any ideas how i can fix this problem?

Your contract is with the shop, although most (especially the big chains like Curry's and Comet) try to insist that their liability only extends for some period like 28 days. This is not true!

Do a forum search for "Sale of Goods" to get lots of advice on how to demand your rights (THIS TOPIC is as good as any to start.
