I have recently purchased all of the above but cannot get any GPS signals the cruxview app doesn't even work. I have upgraded bios to latest version published on HP site v1.0.0.18 although documenttation sugests that there is a rom version 1.178 which may be required, but cannot locate this anywhere and have no idea what its supposed to correct. I currently have OS Pocket PC 2003 although have noticed that I cannot select com4 within the Tom Tom GPS setup options, "could this be the problem and how can I resolve it, Is there another rom or OS upgrade required and pls pls can I have the web address"
HELP !!! |

Depending on the Jacket version you may need a special driver to expose the COM port to the PocketPC. Was there any software delivered with the jacket or is it supposed to work without additional drivers? _________________ Lutz

Which TomTom GPS driver version are you using?
Have you tried to access the jacket with the Emtac Crux_View application? _________________ Lutz

if Crux_View can't see anything then most likely the jacket is malfunctioning. Try getting it replaced. _________________ Lutz
