This latest TT One has this option...Best traffic - free traffic updates for life with optional TMC receiver.
Does that mean the RDS/TMC problem has been sorted out in time to catch Santas shopping list. |

The new receiver (with a part number ending -013) is a vast improvement on the previous devices, it works much better in the UK. It is not 100% but I doubt any RDS-TMC receiver ever will be in this country, the new unit picks up a signal in areas the older designs failed to work at all, it is worth considering.
I would not purchase the One Third Edition on the strength of an RDS-TMC connector though, the lack of Bluetooth renders the GPRS data connection via your mobile phone impossible, let alone the crippled menu and restrictive memory (no SD card slot) - Mike |

Mike. All valid points. I will wait a bit longer then for the 720 to sort itself out. And in the meantime use my Navman F30 (Yes, my prize form here), once it comes back from their repair shop. It is suffering from Fatal Error crashes.
But the RDS/TMC Traffic actually works. |
