Perhaps saying what your probelm was and how you sorted it, may help someone else in the future. |

It was a long post explaining what my problem was
No one replied so I managed to sort the problem myself. |

Which implies no-one knew the answer therefore the decent thing would have been to post the answer here as it may help someone else. |

And the answer was???? I thought you solved this problem?
From another thread i found -
Quote: | One of three icons should appear -
A straight green arrow - directly on your route
A bent green arrow - slightly off your route - probably by a few hundred yards
A bent yellow arrow - further off your route up to a mile or two. |
Is that the answer? |

Nope
The phone icon with yellow question mark is at the bottom left of the map page.
I thought it was to do with the not being able to use the phone when using it for traffic, but now I am not so sure |

If the phone symbol has a question mark over it this means the device cannot see it for hands free calls, most mobiles will either let you have voice calls OR data.
For example if you have traffic updates set for every 5 mins then make a 15 min phone call through the TomTom as handsfree you will not receive traffic information as the phone as it is in use (mine pops some warning up when this occurs).
Like wise if your phone is downloading data it will not be able to make a hands free call at that time - Mike |
