Managed to update my PNA210T with PE software which I think is brilliant, but I cant get the postcodes to work correctly ... I'm stuck on 5 character postoces only which is annoying.
Can anyone help please? |

Tried that by renaming it to gbpostcodes.upd and then poiedit will open the file, then i converted it back to gbpostcodes.asc and placed it in various directories on the unit while hard reseting but nothing works. |

You can input addresses using eight digit post codes, plus it has neat touches such as possible road names being clearly listed in radio buttons across the top of the screen, changing as you tap in additional letters. It also gives you the option of being directed to the middle of the street if you don’t know, or can’t be bothered, to enter the number.
I think maybe your update or upgrade has not been sucessfuly done |

Has anyone had any luck with this? I've just upgraded the software on my 210T and am having the same problem: Used to be able to use 7 digit postcodes but am now limited to 5... Think maybe I didn't follow the instructions correctly but would like to know if there's a quick fix.

I've been reliably informed that the postcode accuracy is determined by the version of the software you use, i.e. CE vs AE vs ME etc. I think I may therefore revert back to the standard software and try just installing all the necessary maps, poi's etc after that. Won't look as pretty but will be more functional...
