|

Sorry - a variation on an old theme:
I want to try out the TomTom camera system rather than the PocketGPS one (no offence intended).
Can anyone help me with changing the built in warning sounds - this used to involved replacing data.chk but the alternative versions which are available on the old threads don't seem to suit the 720.
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks |

You can't change anything if you use the TomTom ones. They are not configurable all you will get is a standard tone, they are pretty much useless. _________________ Graham.

The ogg files are better because they will carry over to different software versions, unlike the older method which required a new file at each and every upgrade. _________________ Richard

Thanks both - I've turned off the Tom Tom version and installed the PGPS POIs. Isn't it incredible that Tom Tom are so rubbish in this area of operation?
Thanks again |
