I want to remove the POI from my Ipaq 3970 to have a good clean up and re-install a fresh batch. What is the safest way to go about this, without fear of removing something I shouldn't?
Thanks for any help.

no magic there - just remove the .ov2 and the .bmp files that you don't want any more. Don't delete anything else. _________________ Lutz

Hi Mike,
If you used POIEdit to synchronise POIs from this website and your PDA then you may have some .inf files in addition to the .ov2 and the .bmp files for each POI.
It’s always a good idea to make a back up of the folder before you make any changes, as it’s easier and quicker just to copy a file back than to reinstall a whole package.

Thanks Robert. I didn't think about a backup... good idea.
