Tough news for Garmin users - imagine them getting to Beta test everything else?
Good news for the rest - it's not as if MS DOS is the only game in town now. _________________ Dennis

There is always someone looking to buy someone else. I don't think it'll make one iota of difference as Garmin as a brand is too big to fiddle with.
Buy it, Yes. Change it, No! _________________ Dom

I can't see that Microsoft buying Garmin will hurt at all.
MS have one thing in plenty - available funds, look at the X-box, started off rough and being slagged by all, now arguably better than the Sony Playstation it came to out to copy.
The only reason MS has the reputation for (you and me) being beta testers, is that they are at the forefront of innovative ideas and need to test the ground somewhere, i for one look forward to seeing the new (rumoured) MS/Garmin and don't feel it can get any worse. _________________ TomTom Go 60
