For members owning AA Navigator software and AA Speedcare, be advised that AA Navigator is no longer supported by The AA.
Teamwarrior, the company behind the product, would appear to have got into financial difficulties, as their affairs are now being handled by F A Simms & Partners plc, Lutterworth, a business rescue and insolvency practice.
The AA, in an e-mail to myself earlier today stated "The Automobile Association sub contracted the sale and support of the AA Navigator to a third party company, who unfortunately, are no longer in a position to carry out this service."
They went onto state: "With regard to the AA Navigator or Speedcare subscription that you have recently bought, if you can send a copy of the Invoice(s) I can look into this matter further."
So some comfort of getting some money back on subscriptions paid out. |

I've been trying to seek an official statement on this before going to press but failed so have published a front page news item.
It's a shame as Teamwarrior were a small bunch of dedicated people who seem to have suffered from the competition of the big boys. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Not 100% sure if the terminology used is legally correct, but I was under the impression that if you 'sub-contracted' any work out and the 'sub-contractor' was 'deficient' in any way, that it is your problem and not the customers.
Perhaps the AA don't mean 'sub-contract'. |

As they're offering to refund any subscriptions etc then they're doing as much as could be expected of them. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sounds like you can't say fairer than that! |
