VM 3.1 through CD

So my car gets broken into and the idiots take the pda (rz1710) with the VM sd card in it.......

I still have the cradle so i figured, i wud buy another rz1710 which i did along with an empty 128mb sd card.

Now i have the original vm cd so i "quickinstall" the map on to the empty sd but i seems to just install the map and not the software, if that makes sense!!...

i.e the map is on the sd but there is no VM software..

Any help will be appreciated!!

Hi, Yes it makes sence, Delete the VM softwear from your computer, then pair your new PDA with the computer via active sync. When the computer can see the PDA, insert the disc onto the computer and install the VM software onto the computer, when it has finnished installing, it will ask if you want to transfer the softwear to the PDA, say yes. Insert the SD card with the Map on, and it should work, post back and let us know how you get on.
