Hi,
I have just bought my first sat nav and have tomtom speed camera updates for a year, which I have not installed yet.
Would I get any benefit from the pocket gps camera lists or are these lists the same as the tom tom lists?
Also do I need a SD card to add speed cameras as I only have 3meg spare on internal memory!...V2 western Europe.
Tried the search function but could not find the answer.
Sorry if I have missed this info somewhere on the site.
Thanks

You wil get some duplication with both sets, but the PGPSW cameras are the more comprehensive as they include Mobile Sites.
You may be able to 'gain' some memory by removing unwanted/unused direction voices. Some are about 1MB.
It is a good thing to Bookmark the FAQ Page, as this answers most basic questions for TomTom's.
The V2 can use either the Internal Memory OR the SD Card, not both. _________________ Richard

Thanks for reply.
Do you know how much memory the tomtom speed cameras use?
I assume they should fit on a new tomtom one!!....no mention on site.
If I do need a SD card do I have to delete maps from internal memory or just insert the card?
Thanks

From memory the PGPSW cameras are about 400KB.
You don't have to delete anything from the Internal Memory, but you do need to Copy everything in Internal Memory to the SD Card.
If you have a Full Backup, then just Copy this to the Card.
If you leave the Internal Memory intact, and you have a problem with the Card at anytime, just slip the Card out and you still have a working Unit. _________________ Richard
