Hi All
A few months ago it was found that by putting a file called "enable_lineout_hands_free " in the root of a tt go 910 it would route the sound of a handsfree call to a external device.

Has anyone tried this on the 520?

Cheers Andy

I tried this a while ago with my 720 and it didn't work, worse still you couldn't hear the other person when making or receiving a call so I had to remove the line from the unit - Mike

Hi
Yes I have just tried it and it seemed to stop all sound output from the ttg 720 but I don't have anything to see if the sound is coming from the 3.5mm jack.
Perhaps some clever sod will work out a "fix" for this some time.
Cheer all

The best clever sod we've got is Mikealder and you can believe he's been trying!
Unfortunately, the clever sods at TomTom decided to withdraw the thingummyjig which allowed that function. Sad - they can't achieve it themselves (output phone calls to external device), so they stopped others doing it for them. Personally, in their shoes I'd have given the developer a handout and bought it off him to put into all their devices.
