|
|
Whenever I connect my TomTom ONE to TomTom Home, I get a message saying:
Important updates:
QuickGPSfix data
Whenever I hit OK for the pudate to take place, I get an error message saying:
Cannot install this item: Ephemeris file: This file is included with the item but should not be there: lto.dat
Any ideas anyone? What is happeneing and what is the workaround? _________________ - - - - - - - - -

The question was asked a fortnight ago. I don't recall a solution.
You could try deleting the Files in the ephem Folder and trying again.
It's something I've never come across. _________________ Richard

Just to update you, a couple of days after my posting, TomTom Home updated itself and then, when the QuickGPSfix Data update ran, it ran without a hitch. No problems since. _________________ - - - - - - - - -

every time I download the quickfix files from tom tom My one fails when unpacking the file
Tom Tom advised deleting the file and starting again but this has no effect .
It gets to 55kb and sits there before a fail message appears.
anyone any ideas |

nothing I do to the tom tom will allow this file to download it always fails.even if I delete it first (using the tom tom as a drive on my pc )
Update : managed to download the file using my daughters PC which has broadband.
I have to use dial up as BT say the line quality is too poor for broadband,so maybe its a dialup timing problem. |
