Would TTH2 still pick up these 2 different devices and work properly, if you shared the software with say a 720 and a 510? (obviously not both devices plugged in at the same time!) |

I'm guessing you had a glitch or something, as you posted the same question three times within two minutes of each other. I've locked the other two and will delete them since they have no replies.
In answer to your question, I have three devices that I use with HOME. New general updates will be downloaded and installed without problem, but device-specific updates will need each device to have a seperate email address and Login associated with it. _________________ Tim |

If all you want is Map Share and software updates via TomTom Home then it will work with multiple devices (its just a real PITA in my opinion) - TomTom want you to have a different e-mail address per device to fully use the features of Home and / or the Plus services (if you use them on both machines).
All I do is click the "My Device" icon lower left of the TomTom Home (1,6) screen to disconnect one device from the PC, Connect up my next device let it find it and when it starts asking questions about not logged into account and do you want to log in just answer No, you will find everything works as it should do.
Please note I did mention the Version number of TomTom Home, I only use 1,6 as I hate the version 2 interface - I guess at some point I will be forced to change to version 2 but for now I can live with the situation - Mike |
