Cus of my recent move to a 720 from a PDA i'm missing an explorer.Would be nice to be able to add/remove and save certain files
Is there anything out there that can do this as a 3rd party software. |

The usuall procedure is to connect the TomTom via the USB lead, and the TomTom will show in "My Computer", as an external drive, which you can move/deleate/add files etc. Before you go messing with it, make sure you have a WINDOWS EXPLORER backup first. To do that look here.

I understand how to connect to a pc. I was thinking about an aplication to install into tomtom so it could be done whilst you were away from home.
I would regularly back up my saved POI of the destinations and also had a copy of the main setup file incase the program went corrupt. Also had a main backup of all the PDA incase the whole lot went.(which it has done a couple of times in its 3 or 4 years and tends to want to do it when i'm working away) |

You could try Roussillat's TTExplorer.
As with all his applications, it was written using the TomTom SDK so may or may not work on v7 software.
