|
|
This is probably just wishful thinking but does anybody know the answer?
I registered my TTN2 in December 2003 and have just bought the complete set of maps for Western Europe and registered them in February 2004.
My wishful thinking is, that I will be entitled to a free upgrade to TTN3.
Any one got any advice ? |

I guess you're just lucky...
Quote: | European owners of TomTom Navigator 2 software can upgrade to the newest version for free or for a reduced price, depending on when the product was activated. Those purchasers who activated on or after 18 January 2004, receive the upgrade for free, excluding shipping and handling costs. Customers who activated before 18 January 2004 pay EUR 49 to upgrade the software including any additional maps (such as Maps of Western Europe). Customers who wish to upgrade can begin ordering in mid-April, 2004. |

I read it the other way up - I think because the program was registered before the cut-off, the upgrade fee will be payable.

I have an bad feeling about this !
I think that you might be right David. However, I hope Lutz gets a job at TomTom so his interpretation can be used. |
