Would I? Yes but if you don't want to and it's working fine as is then there is no onus on you to do so. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I always try to regard FW updates as a kind of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" thing.
As you'll see from my sig i'm using Firmware 2.7 for my Sat Nav even though the latest is numbered 3.4. I have tried the newer FW because it's easy to revert back to the old one, but the broken features in the newer FW outweighs the benifits of the fixed (working) features in the older FW. |

I'm using 6.524, when the latest is 6.525, because it doesn't do anything to improve what I've got.
The real reason is ..... I can't be bothered.
Now if it was V7.xxx ..... _________________ Richard

Version 7 won't give you any significant benefits unless you also buy the v7 maps, when the map correction facility can be used

Robin | I realise that, but it implies the next major update, and a good reason to get a customisable map. _________________ Richard
