As I've been travelling around europe I've notices some truck drivers with pcs or bluetooth screens reading their text.
Is there anything out there like a bluetooth screen so you can read your text easily working alongside your phone or maybe something like a bluetooth communications centre, a screen, handsfree, gps centre, but larger than a pda?
Thanks

why would you want to read text and drive? Surely it's easier to have directions read out to you?
my recommendation Tomtom 1 XL.
It does'nt work with many new phones though. If your's is listed you then need to check it against your service provider, ie, 3 or Orange.
As for your questions about BT screens or Comms centers, you are asking for something very specialist, therefore I assume, very expensive. |

The TomTom One XL can only use the phones Bluetooth connection to receive/ transmitt data, something Like the TomTom 720 when paired with a compatible mobile phone can read out text messages as well as acting as a hands free device for the mobile phone and provide navigation via a screen larger than the average PDA. - Mike |
