I'm having trouble getting the 720 to use the GPRS service on my 6310i. I am on the O2 network and have turned GPRS on.
The 720 connects OK via bluetooth and I can make handsfree calls etc, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get the TT+ services working via the phone. Is there something I should be doing with the phone or O2?
Any help would be appreciated. _________________ Cheers, John

I can't provide any 720 specific help, but, in order to provide more info for those that can, can I ask if you have upgraded to the 720 from another TT device? Did you use the 6310i with it? Did it work? Are you able to use the phone with other devices (PDA, etc.)? And can you explain the steps you are taking and any messages displayed, on phone or 720?
Don't expect help from TT, cos it's not on the list _________________ Jock

It's so long ago since I did it with my 6230i and other GO models, that I can't remember clearly. All I do remember is I got onto my network provider (Vodafone) and said I wanted to send a picture, not just a text. They sent me a text message which I opened and either it did the business just by being opened, or the message told me in idiot guide language what to do - it would have had to be automatic or VERY simple as I had no way of printing off instructions to follow. Try giving your people a call. _________________ Dennis

In answer to the questions:
1. This is my first TomTom device
2. I have not used GPRS with the 6310i before
3. When trying the TT+ services, bluetooth connects and disconnects 3 times then the TT 720 says no GPRS service
4. This phone is not on the TT website, but it is listed on the 720
I will contact O2 and ask them, but I'm wondering if I have a duff TT as I also have the notorious XULrunner problem. _________________ Cheers, John
