When navigating using my N73, "Jane's" voice mysteriously changes into a male voice for the next 'turn instruction' following a spoken camera warning. I've noticed this only happens when the spoken camera warning is closely followed by the 'turn instuction'. The 'voice' then reverts back to "Jane". I only have two voices in my 'voices' folder, that of Jane and Tim. The mystery voice is not Tim's. This also happens on my wifes N95, when the mystery voice sounds like "Mickey Mouse" (her description) Both devices have the female .ogg spoken camera warnings.
Any ideas / suggestions on how to solve this ??? Anyone else having a similar problem? Did you cure it ? How?

Sorry to dissapoint you but that isn't a mystery voice, the speed camera warnings are recorded at a different speed than Jane's voice, If the camera warning is played just before Jane speaks (or any voice for that matter) it will play the voice at the slower speed.
The same happens the other way round too. If Jane is speaking then you come to a camera warning the warning comes out very high pitched and much faster. |

Thanks for that DBushwacka, your reply has saved me some hours searching through the software looking for a 'rogue' voice, I guess we are just stuck with it! Still it does provide a topic for conversation on long journeys and "the voices, the voices" are preferable to the default 'honks, bleeps and mooing' |
