Anyone found any other devices that work and dont clip the sound?
One with a 3.5mm jack would be ideal, then the tomtom unit could be replaced altogether.

Sorry for the late reply, just got back off holiday, the t305 is not a phone it,s a bt device so you have got to search for a bt device hope this helps.

Sorry for being dense, but how do i get the tomtom rider to do that?

I have the t305 in pairing mode All i can see on the tomom rifer is phone or the headset?

Ah Sorted it out now thanks.

I needed to do a reset to factory settings and then tell it to connect to the headset. Picked up the unit right away.
Looks like i have to do that to switch between the t305 and tomtom headset though
