I have a TT One and was wondering if there's a way to edit the name of your 'Home' location (the name it appears as on the 'tooltip' when you're browsing the map)?
I've moved to an estate that isn't on the latest map, so the only way to change my Home location is to stand outside the house and set it to my current GPS position! But it just appears as a question mark on the map, and there doesn't seem to be an option to edit the name.
Is it held in a file that can be edited somewhere on the SD card?
Cheers. |

The name of home is in the MapSettings.cfg file
You can change it using TomTomFavouriteEditor
(its in german but easy to use) |

Got a link?
Google bought up a lot of hits but after trying quite a few (al in german or French, I still seemed to miss any actual download links. |
