Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI and the camera POI files should be listed, if not there is a problem with the files you have put on the device, or where you have put them.
Assuming they show up (scroll down the list to find them, or type PO on the keyboard to bring them to the top of the list) you will need to set up the warning parameters for each camera category you have installed to the One - Mike |

many thanks | It'll serve you right if he's gone out to the zoo!! No real harm done and this is NOT a telling off BUT ... Best post the listing here for all to see and dig into - could well get a faster reply. Most of all, somebody else has had, or will have the same problem and if they see it solved here, they'll reap the benefit of your posts. That's why we encourage public posting - you wouldn't believe the stuff I've picked up by reading other people's posts. _________________ Dennis

Problem is the poor chap doesn't know how to post a picture up on the site, I am still awaiting an e-mail with a picture then I will link it to this thread so everyone can have a read/ look and work out what the issue is - I seem to remember helping out a few others with the issue of posting pictures, so he isn't the only one who finds this troublesome - it easy to do when you know how but it can cause severe nashing of the teeth when you don't.
And while Blackpool does have a Zoo I have not gone there for quite a while - Mike |

Have a look at #7 on the FAQ Page it will explain exactly what is wrong, in short you cannot configure camera warnings when using the TomTom supplied camera database, use the one from this site instead as it is more accurate and considerably cheaper you can also use full spoken alerts and configure the warnings with the Pocket GPS World offering - Mike |

Have another read of the FAQ page (the link to it is in my previous post) this time you want to read #13 which details how to remove the TomTom cameras.
It is possible to have them both on the device but the warnings can get messed up with duplicate entries from each database trying to offer warnings, the easy option is to make sure you have a back up of the device then remove the TomTom cameras from the device - Mike |
