Does anyone know how i can track my route on the rider and then import it into a program on my pc (like autoroute, maybe by using itn convert).
Also doe sthe new ttr v2 automaticaly track routes? |

Do you mean you want to record where you have been for post analysis? if so you could try installing NMEA Logger then import the data to the PC using something like GPS Babel to get the data into the required format - Mike |

Thanks for the reply.
I basicaly want to turn the TTR on, go for a ride on 'new' roads, get home, plug in TTR, import to Autoroute or similar and see where ive been.
Now im not sure what nmea files are but ill look into it and see what i can do with that program.

NMEA data is the actual output from the GPS device which updates at a rate of once per second, NMEA logger will record the position, speed etc every second of your trip as a text file, they are quite small - I use a rough rule of thumb that one hour of logging equates to 1MB file size.
Once you have the txt file you use the other application I mentioned to convert the file to whatever you need to display the file using another mapping application on the PC - Mike |

Mike, thanks again for your help. I couldnt get along with the nmea logger etc, however i did find the 'tripmaster' program off that site you mentioned and this does what i want.
