|
|
I have just returned from France and have created my own poi group called 'frenchcams' as I found eleven fixed gatso sites that were not on any of my other speed camera poi groups.
When I go to the pocketgpsworld speed camera submission page and try to upload the file file it fails as it says it is not a recognised ov2 format.
I cannot run poi capture on my Nokia E61 so this may be the problem as the ov2 file had the wrong name?
Is there anywhere I can email the file to, or a way around this problem. |

I've just checked and I've definitely sent and received email to/from that address. If it no longer works, you'll have to use the form. Have you tried to open the ov2 in e.g. POIEdit? _________________ Jock

Ah.
Replace the _(at)_ with the usual sign. I'm sure you'll be able to guess what the domain name is _________________ Jock

Also, if you can open the file in POIEdit, have a look at the street names, for "funny" punctuation. I remember that apostrophes (e.g. Top o' the Hill) used to throw off the parser. _________________ Jock

cameras AT pocketgpsworld.com
it's not good practise to post actual email addresses in forums as the are easy to then harvest and we get enough spam as it is!!
if there are only 11 you could just get the lat/lon from them in poi edit and submit them manually?
