Hi all, just looked at the RAM in my new 720 and it has used 60mb and has left 17mb, would that be internal memory of what is left on the card in the slot, so my next question has to be, if it is the card and I want to load some music, do I just go out and get a bigger card load the back up I have made and I am away, or is there more to it?

It has a total of 60 Mb of RAM and (so it says) has 17Mb free. RAM is the working memory, NOT the Storage Capacity and you'll often find that the amount free will vary each time you look, because it's using some (there's much more of an explanation, but if you didn't realise the difference between RAM and storage, it won't make much sense in a quick reply like this).
Mine didn't come with a card in the slot - just a fake bit of plastic.
I'm not into music myself, but I did vaguely notice someone recently say they had loaded bunches of music onto an SD card (just music files, not from a device backup) and shoved it into the hole and it played them. Can't harm trying, can you? (You HAVE done at least one backup using Windows Explorer? I've done two, but another one is due tonight). _________________ Dennis
