My Navman iCN 510 has just died and I want to get a copy of my Favourites off it, are they on the memory card (and if so where).
If not and I manage to resurect if briefly, where on the unit are they stored?
Many Thanks

I think they are in a file favorites.dat or something similar. It's a binary file so only good on an iCN510 - although it may (if you are lucky) work on other iCN models. |

Thanks,
I have managed to revive the 510 (and have a N20 on its way ), and have confirmed that the favourites must be stored on the unit (by taking out the memory card and checking that it still listed them even though there were no maps).
Do you have any idea where in the directory structure of the unit I should be looking?
Many thanks.

It's been a long time since I last had a look at 510 but I THINK directory where favourites are is "Program Files\Navman\Ficino".
Even if you do get the file N20 won't read it. The last unit that I know off that could read that file format is 530. I think F20 might as well but not sure. |
